Acclimatization at Mawenzi Tarn

We have had two acclimatization hikes on Mawenzi today.

We are hoping for some improved weather after the bitterly cold night we endured. The outside temperature reached minus 10 degrees with some very strong winds.

We are about to have afternoon tea before taking an afternoon siesta before dinner.

The team sends best wishes to friends and family.
