Departure for Mawenzi Tarn Camp

After a very cold night we have had a good breakfast and are on the way to Mawenzi Tarn Camp.

This should take approximately 4 hours with 700m of ascent. The team is starting to feel the affects of the altitude, but everyone is coping well.

A perfect day on Kilimanjaro !

John Horrell, hard core mountaineer.

Gary and Sara Aaron.

  4. Hi guys. The running group is thinking of you and wishing you great climbing. You were far better off on Saturday on the mountain than in soggy Sydney. A hard core day for us. The photos of what is coming look awesome. Regards, Michael
